Xiem clay paddles are designed to provide simple solutions to shaping, forming and compressing clay. They are handcrafted from solid Beech wood for a lifetime of use.
The flat side of the paddle is excellent for shaping, forming and flattening irregularities on the surface of the clay. It can be used to add strength and stability and alter wheel forms and hand-build clay works. It is an indispensable tool for the sculpture artist.
The convex side is great for compressing clay and knocking out air bubbles.
The handles are covered with soft foam rubber grips for comfort.
