Introducing Scarva Studio Reactive Glazes

A new and exciting range of reactive, reduction effect cone 5/6 glazes.

The Scarva Studio Reactive glazes have been developed for cone 5/6 stoneware firing, each giving an exciting and unique effect creating beautiful results on all sorts of ware.

The glazes are available in powder form and formulated with dipping in mind; however, when combined with our Scarva Studio Reactive Glaze Medium, and made into brush-on form, you can achieve stunning results – highlighting brush strokes, varying thicknesses and textures and open up a world of possibilities in combining different glazes in unique combinations. 

SR-08 Castaway is a stunning cone 5/6 glaze that breaks and pools beautifully over texture and rims. SR-08 Castaway is a magical glaze that completely changes depending on thickness. Where thin it shows as a honey colour with hues of green and yellow, where thicker it becomes more of a true blue with beautiful floats of sky blue and darker shadows.
