Introducing Scarva Studio Reactive Glazes

A new and exciting range of reactive, reduction effect cone 5/6 glazes.

The Scarva Studio Reactive glazes have been developed for cone 5/6 stoneware firing, each giving an exciting and unique effect creating beautiful results on all sorts of ware.

The glazes are available in powder form and formulated with dipping in mind; however, when combined with our Scarva Studio Reactive Glaze Medium, and made into brush-on form, you can achieve stunning results – highlighting brush strokes, varying thicknesses and textures and open up a world of possibilities in combining different glazes in unique combinations. 

SR-05 Coral Reef is a stunning cone 5/6 glaze that shows rich speckled red where thinner and floats from indigo and purples to pearlescent pinks and whites where thicker.
